IRENA Releases Renewable Energy Profiles for Pacific Countries
The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has released a publication titled “Renewable Energy Country Profiles: Pacific.” The country profiles consider where renewable energy can contribute significantly to combating climate change

The publication aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the situation of renewable energy, including: energy supply, electrical capacity, energy access, policies, targets, investment climate, projects and endowment in renewable energy resources.
The publication profiles the renewable energy situations of Australia, the Cook Islands, Fiji, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
