Response to: Can science really save the world?

Hm, well, this headline -- "Can science really save the world?" -- would have been better phrased as "Can technological fixes really save the world?"

And it's very, very hard to understand what the two reporters were thinking when they referred to "endless" treaties to cut the risks of global overheating.  The term "endless" implies that nations have signed treaty after treaty after treaty. How many such treaties can these two reporters name? And where was their editor when such nonsense was readied for print in the British press?
